  • My private practice is all about supporting families with Infant feeding, breastfeeding and chestfeeding. I am not here to make you do something that you do not want to do. I am all about you feeding your baby/babies how you want to, with support from a non judgemental and inclusive experienced practitioner.

We work together as a team, with you, your baby and your partner or support person if you wish to include them.

  • I offer home visits and online consultations, text based support and telephone support.

I offer separate antenatal and postnatal services and a “You Are Amazing” package that covers both.

Our appointments will not be rushed or hurried. I will take time to listen to you and your support needs. After we have met, we can stay in touch by text or Whatsapp.

I offer reduced rates for follow up visits.

About me

Ann Watts IBCLC

Hello!

I’m Ann, pleased to meet you!

If you are a parent in South Glos, we might have already met. If not, then welcome.

Let me introduce myself. I am the Lactation Consultant that works in the breastfeeding groups, the baby hubs and the Health Visitor Infant Feeding team in South Glos. I pop up on Facebook on Bristol Breastfeeding Mummies and I’m part of @bristolbeyondBF. For more information about our BNSSG NHS infant feeding support teams, contact your Midwife or Health Visitor.

I train the volunteer peer supporters and I’ve been part of the ABM Breastfeeding Counsellor training team. I’ve given guest workshops at UWE to the student Health Visitors and the AWP maternal mental health teams.

I’ve been supporting breastfeeding, mixed feeding and weaning families since 2002, trained as an NCT Breastfeeding Counsellor in 2010 and after much persuasion and study, I qualified as an IBCLC in Dec 2023.

When I’m not talking about boobs, I’m usually outside, walking, gardening, foraging or getting lost in Stoke Park woods. I love pilates, cooking and going out out with my friends and family.
